Hedge is typically made of bush like vegetation, like cedar trees being cut and maintained. Hedges are typically use in urban areas to separate properties. There is also a tree row tag that seems more appropriate for this situation. I would use 

natural=tree_row
denotation=border_farm

However the border_farm value, despite being suggested in ID, it not in the wiki so not sure how official it is.

If the trees are being grown or used as part of a plantation (not so much at the edge of a field) you can also use

natural=tree_row
denotation=agricultural
