[Talk-ca] New mapper in Manitoba - an introduction

greetings all

It has been a while since I participated in a classic mailing list, but am
looking forward to that daily digest appearing in my email messages. :)

My name is Mary Krieger and I am based in Manitoba (north of Winnipeg,
south of Selkirk). I made my first edits in September of this year.

My OSM edits are primarily focused mapping of protected areas within
Manitoba. I also have been contributing edits based on data drawn from my
local surroundings - hopefully not stepping on too many toes while I learn
the community norms.

My mapping activity aligns with my interest in using iNaturalist to record
biodiversity within Manitoba. I am also active editing Wikipedia and
wikidata material for Manitoba protected areas.

Thanks to each and every one of you for helping to reveal Canada through
the medium of OSM. I certainly feel a great sense of satisfaction from
seeing OSM sourced data being used around the web and knowing that I helped
in a tiny way to make it more useful. :)
