[Talk-ca] [bot] Proposal to fix issue with duplicated inner polygons in Canada

Here is our updated bot logic: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Automated_edits/TTmechanicalupdates/Fix_issue_with_duplicated_inner_polygons_in_Canada#Phase_2_3 and an updated bot code https://github.com/tomtom-international/osm-bots/tree/main/bot-double-inner-ring.
We'd like to plan to fix as many remaining cases as possible (in an automatic way). Our team is ready to start as of Monday 31 January.

Bonjour à tous,
We are happy to announce that the bot run, as initially planned and described on the wiki page, is completed!
We managed to fix 393,411 incorrect cases in the whole of Canada. The full summary of this action can be found here: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Automated_edits/TTmechanicalupdates/Fix_issue_with_duplicated_inner_polygons_in_Canada#Phase_1_details
Now we are analyzing cases where the geometry is more than doubled (e.g. tripled) or where data comes from a source other than CanVec. We see an opportunity to have a second phase of the bot, to fix the majority of those cases as well. That will require fine-tuning of our code, which we expect to complete within the next 2-3 weeks.
