[Talk-ca] Jasper mapping

There is no project that I am aware of. I was already mapping in Jasper area when the fire struck. There is at least one other contributor that did most of the job. I do not know for them,  but I personally used most recent Sentinel 2 images (false colors) to interpret burned areas in the city. AFAIK, Sentinel images can be used in this context.

It would normally be done with something like the HOT task manager or someone hosting it.

You need a source of upto date imagery licensed for OSM to work from and it's best if you know what the people on the ground would like mapping.
