[Talk-cr] Mapping Costa-Rica

Hello Openstreetmap-People!

We are a working on behalv of a small startup company in Florida that 
likes to do some
real-estate-internet-Buisiness in costa rica.

We (http://Inqbus.de) are open-source developers and like to use open 
access geo data as much as possible.
We are setting up computer-power at WDC yet and later in Costa-Rica as well.
We will surely be a good host for a mirror of open-Street-map for the 
middle americas.

The Open-streetmap data of Costa Rica is - uh - unfinished. We like to 
contribute.

Our Customer will shoot up a buisiness directory of Costa-Rica where 
anybody may georeference his
buisiness for free. We like to share this data with the openstreetmap 
community.

* Where do we find local contacts that are involved with openstreetmap?

For the initial launch of our portal we need map material that is not 
copyrighted and/or may be digitized
for free.

    Is this material as free as it states to be?
   
* What ist the projection of costa-Ricaen Maps anyway?

* Is there other free material avaible?

* Who likes to contribute - work with us?
