[Talk-ec] Removal of suspected copyrighted data

Thanks for your mail.

In fact, we've been discussing this issue in the ecuadorian OSM community.

Please, would you mind to give us some advice on how to proceed with this
kind of CR violations. So far what we did is:

1.- Look for clues that may indicate that the data comes from a different
source than surveying (large edits, non-standard tags, etc.)

2.- Attempt to contact the user and set a deadline to proof his/her data is
compatible with the OSM licence.

3.- Warn the community to not edit the data in question until the issue is
closed.

4.- Seek for advice/support from OSM groups to delete data / revert changes.

Thanks for taking action, and don't worry: we'll keep good mapping.
