Visto que la gente ya empezó a subir datos del catastro a OSM, decidí
subir los datos de Pontecesures, un ayuntamiento pequeño al norte de
Pontevedra (6,7 km2, http://osm.org/go/b9LyoEg~- ). Eran como unos
89500 objetos que dejé subiendo a eso de las 12 de la noche (calculé
unas 8-9 horas para que completase).

Los datos eran completos, es decir, hice un cat2osm.jar -jar config,
sin más argumentos, y sólo corregí warnings (no había errores).

Hoy por la mañana me encontré un aviso de error en josm, que me
remitía a la bandeja de entrada del usuario catastro_pontevedra, donde
leía esto:

uploaded, this is evident from where the nodes are. As pointed out
http://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/imports/2012-March/001313.html only
those features were consulted on with the imports@ list. If you want
import more data you need to propose a new import.

Es evidente que algo está fallando con este proceso de subir datos a
OSM, o yo entendí mal cuando se decía que se podían subir ya los
datos, cuando es obvio que no.

Creo que sería necesario explicitar qué se puede hacer y que no, y
hacerlo claramente, sin suponer conocimientos previos que uno a lo
mejor no tiene. Yo no soy programador, sólo soy un simple profesor de
secundaria.

Vosotros diréis. Yo por lo pronto dejo todo esto del cat2osm en
standby. En todo caso, creo que, visto la complejidad del tema, igual
no soy la persona más idónea para encargarme de provincias de
Pontevedra y Ourense, por lo que si lo estimáis oportuno, podéis
asignar esas provincias a alguien más preparado.

Ahora mismo contestaré a Paul Norman para pedirle disculpas, y que no
volveré a subir datos de catastro hasta que esté 100% seguro de lo que
estoy haciendo, de ahí que os pida claridad en todo este asunto, pues
fallar una vez no tiene importancia, pero fallar dos veces sería un
poco vergonzoso.
