There is another reason for mappers not responding to changeset comments.

"Normally, when you comment a changeset, the author of the changeset
receive an email".

A running joke in a former company was to say: "can you say the same
without 'normally'".

And no, we can't.

The email address given at subscription time may not be valid any more
or rarely read.

In the case you don't get an answer to a changeset in a decent time
(decent varying from a week to a month or more depending on the current
contribution rate of the contributor), a possibility is that he/she/it
just didn't get notified.

In that case send a private message: the contributor will see in the
https://www.openstreetmap.org/ that a message is waiting for him/her/it.
