[OSM-talk-fr] New Caledonia and the HDM

 Greetings OSM France,

Forgive this being in English, but as the Response Coordinator for the
Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT <http://hotosm.org>), we wanted to
reach out regarding the impact of Cyclone Niran on the territory of New
Caledonia.

Our understanding is that some areas were severely impacted but we have not
received any requests from our partners in international disaster response
and aid so we have not activated. Please do let us know if there is any
need for an organized digitization of New Caledonia, or any other disaster
or humanitarian response in your areas of interest; send an email directly
to me, or even better to activation.requests at hotosm.org (cc'd) for the
quickest response.

On a side-note, we (HOT) are looking towards a review and update of the
Humanitarian Data Model (which the Humanitarian Data Style:
https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=4/-26.43/147.30&layers=H is based off).
If you are, or know who, would be a good contact for this; please let me
know!
