Sorry. A few events have passed by which I never mentioned on this mailing list, but here's quick alert about a special one:

TOMORROW (Saturday) we'll have an OpenStreetMap pub meet-up at the Monkey Puzzle pub in Paddington from 7:30pm. Join us for some friendly social beers and chit chat on the subject of OpenStreetMap (contributing/using experienced/beginners, whatever interests you in and around OpenStreetMap!)

We have a special guest! OSMF board member and Geofabrik director, Frederik Ramm is in London, hence the short notice and unusual weekend fixture. If you're one of those people who prefers events on the weekend, make the most of it!

The Monkey Puzzle is near Paddington (here on the map: http://osm.org/go/euu4EkLQM-?m= ). It's also near Edgeware Rd, Lancaster Gate & Marble arch. In-between all of them in a surprisingly quiet area, so pay attention to the location, and maybe find it using ...a map!

Oh and it serves pub grub, so most of us will probably be eating there.

Whether you're a mapper, map user, or just curious, come join us! If you think you may have trouble recognising anyone, turn up half an hour late (when the group will be more assembled), and look out for maps or OpenStreetMap hi-viz vests or polo shirts.

Not everyone bothers with this. You can expect a group of between 5 and 15 people.

Further ahead, we've been pondering another Q&A presentation evening event. If you have ideas for that, or particularly if you want to host it at your office, or you want to give a talk, I'm sure Firefishy would love to hear from you.

We should also try to pencil in a date for a special Christmas pub meet-up. Maybe that will also be on a Saturday. Stay tuned for news on that.
