Folks,

I've had a very encouraging short dialogue with Tom Watson, MP for West
Bromwich East and Minister for Digital Engagement. He's clearly supportive
of OSM and I mentioned that we would probably have a mapping party in the
Spring centred on the Black Country. He's offered to assist with a Sandwell
venue and suggested The Public (http://www.thepublic.com/) which would be an
awesome venue to host a mapping party at, especially as it sits slap bang in
the centre of unmapped territory.

The Public would also be a great location to showcase our completed
Birmingham map.

We've agreed to communicate again in the New Year.
