I found a list of parks and open spaces (basically playgrounds) on the
birmingham council site:

http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/GenerateContent?CONTENT_ITEM_ID=125654&CONTENT_ITEM_TYPE=0&MENU_ID=1743

They also have a map where each playground is marked with a P but this
is, of course, OS based.
