Good stuff. Possibly the next step is to get a firm price for while
you will need a kml file and the we can have a proper appeal to get
required approx £2,500.
You might be able to buy it from Emap in theUSA or the European
distributor in Rome that Simone Cortesi has already spoken to in the
past re the Gaza Strip photography. I have copied this email to him
to see if he could help again with sourcing it from Rome which would
be best given that it is being purchased from within Europe.

I am keen that we set something up that can handle more imagery over
time. There are evidently discussions going on about a shed-load of
10cm photography for another part of the UK and ITO is also planning
to offer funding support for some satellite photography to support
mapping in some other (smaller) urban areas in the UK, so let's plan
something that will continue to work as more imagery arrives.
OAM isn't quite the correct place for this because the imagery is
still (c) even if we have rights to derive mapping from it. Simone
Cortesi organised hosting for the Gaza Strip photography - possibly he
could help us out or offer us some advice.
