[Talk-gb-westmidlands] Mapping Social on 1/12/12

Bhaveen,

 

We are mapping the area shown on the "cake"[1] on Saturday afternoon.
Unfortunately I'm mapping by bike so not easy for you to follow me and see
how it's done but perhaps someone else who's mapping on foot might be able
to show you the ropes for a bit. Once it gets dark we are due to meet up to
chat about all things OpenStreetMap at the pub [2] and you could certainly
join us there. A little later we will probably go for a curry in our
attempts to make it also our Christmas Party! ;-)

Hello All,

 

My name is Bhaveen Dattani and I have recently signed up to the OSM Mailbox.
I am currently a final year undergraduate student studying Computer Science
and I have an interest in VGI. I would love the opportunity to get involved
and find out first hand, how VGI is generated. I am aware that there is a
mapping social evening on Saturday 1st December and would like to find out
more information about this event?

 

I hope you do not mind my informal approach and would like to thank you for
