Hi Nick

Well done for stepping forward to do this!  Just follow the tagging schema
from an existing way that is on a gritting route  maintenance=gritting,
gritting=priority_1, 2 or 3 -if none is indicated in the data set to
priority_1, gritting_route_ref= x (if Dudley data has these)
gritting_operator=Dudley MBC.

There is no schedule for updates we just request these when we have work to
do.

If you're using JOSM you can set some preferences so that gritted routes
are highlighted  which is the best way to see your progress(but I've
forgotten how I set these up - Andy R can you help?)
