Hello all,

Brian I know you are going to kill me for this so I am apologising in
advance.

In Birmingham City Council we have set up a site to capture requests for
open data:

http://birmingham.dialogue-app.com/open-data-for-birmingham

I know that Brian has supplied me a list of data that would be really
useful for OSM, this is progressing at snails pace as we obtain the data
via Amey for some of the asset based data (lamposts, etc.).

The key thing is that if we capture these requests in this place we have
for the first time Cllr Lisa Trickett setting up a board to push this
forward (a bit of political clout helps move things on). The board will
consist of politicians, officers and the people who have asked for the
data, so it is a real opportunity to get on board.

If any of you can spread the word and/or contribute we can push this
forward internally.

Also BCC is pushing out it's list of adopted roads on the web finally
although I have asked about the way it is publishing it:

Cheers,

Stuart
