[Talk-gb-westmidlands] Thimblemill Brook, Warley

I'm trying to make sense of the stream or sreams listed below.

This one:

     https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/171647724

is labelled Thimblemill Brook, and runs westwards to the River Tame;
but a few yards away, this one:

    https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/171553553

is unnamed, but joins:

    https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/171553560

which is also named "Thimblemill Brook" and runs eastwards to:

https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1825656536

where it disappears. Why? It then flows out of Thimblemill Pool as:

   https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/171553562

before disappearing abruptly. Where does it go?

Do we really have two thimblemill Brooks, rising a few yards apart and
running in opposite directions?
