Oh, and of course you do need to be saving tracklogs to the SD card in the first place;   Setup -> Tracklog -> Setup -> Data card setup ->Log track to data card


And it should work with the Venture Cx as far as I'm aware...

Indeed, it was added in version 2.50 of the firmware. I'm not sure which
version I have, but I haven't updated since I purchased it, and it
looked like it had been on the shelf for a while....
