[Talk-GB] London mapping party

I'll pretty much have the south west quarter of sector 4b, and the adjoining
part of sector 6, extensively done by the time of the mapping party. I work
next to Bank tube station so get to do it in my lunch hour (when it's not
raining, and surfing the web seems too boring).

Is there an easy way of marking these and other "completed" areas? This way
we can concentrate on the less well done zones. I suppose you can rely on
the road density, but this varies from place to place, and it's difficult to
see if anyone has methodically plotted every road and cut-through. I could
just spray paint the sectors jpg?

Also I'd recommend adding a printed satellite photo to the list of things
for each sector... it makes figuring out where things are a lot easier when
it comes to making the map if you've already worked it out at the location
and drawn it on with a pen. About a 100 times easier when half the things
you're adding are cut-through named paths which tunnel through facades and
are barely visible until you work out you're between the big tall white
building and the short squat concrete building, so that shadow is probably
the path; that's harder to do when you where there yesterday and assumed it
would be obvious, but there's actually 5 shadows-that-could-be-paths to
choose from.

It'll be nice to see london on the map properly!
