I edited the map features page to say this a couple of weeks ago, but
someone else has unhelpfully removed that change.

The page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Key:place says use 'name'
*not* place_name for nodes, but it is harmless to put both in.

I've reinstated my change with a slight change in wording which I hope will
satisfy the pedantry behind removing the comment in the first place.
