I would go but I am afraid it is too late a notice.
I have a coaching commitment then that I cannot duck.

Cheers

Maybe one or two from London would like to attend and spread the OSM
word.
Note that pre-booking places is required for non RGS-IBG members. Entry
is
free though.

Cheers

Andy

Join Simon Foxell to hear his lecture 'Mapping London' on Thursday 8
May at 19.00, as part of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)
London City lectures.

"For more than 500 years, London's mapmakers have restlessly invented
new ways of showing the untameable city they live in. Simon explores
how London thinks about itself as a city as seen through the amazing
array of maps, old and new, created to describe it".

All RGS-IBG members welcome (Membership cards must be shown).

Non-members are also invited, there is no charge for entry but places
must be pre-booked by contacting Joanna Wells (j.wells at rgs.org).

The lecture is being held at Chartered Accountants Hall at One
Moorgate Place, London EC2R 6EA.

Doors open 18.00, bar available. For more information, please visit
http://www.rgs.org/whatson.
