[Talk-GB] What have I done wrong?

I’ve been thinking more about this. I didn’t use JOSM for the woods; I used Potlatch with NPE background, and although not an expert with JOSM I managed to add circular ways and add a landuse tag. But it seems typing wood in for the value was perhaps part of the problem.
Having said this they all render OK on both Tiles at Home and Mapnik layers, but the problem only arose when I tried to have an area within an area (and even then it might just be because I had the relationship set wrong.
I’ll change them anyway to avoid any possible future problems, now the “park with wood in” looks fine.

And I used landuse=wood, when the map features options seem to be landuse=forest or natural=wood. This too may not have helped. I can’t think how I did this. It has been ages since I added the woods in the area, but I can’t imagine tagging them as =forest then amending them to =wood (I used JOSM). It looks like I might have to go and fix all the other woods around here to one of the two valid tags even though they seem to be rendering OK at the moment. I’ll wait until I can get the wood in the park rendered first though
