Actually we might not even be able to get away with the current broken
scheme. Observe that currently, a contraflow cycle lane is tagged as:

   highway=<whatever>
   oneway=yes
   cycleway=opposite_lane

This of course says nothing about which side to render the fancy casing
on: you have to introduce knowledge of which side people drive on to do
that.

I'm still considering introducing a draft proposal to do what I
mentioned with cycleway:$SIDE_WRT_WAY_STRING, because think it might
improve matters. Some stats from tagwatch for lanes and vague, lane-like
thingies:

   Tagwatch   oneway=yes/true +    oneway=yes/true +
    zone       cycleway=opposite    cycleway=opposite_lane
   ---------  -------------------  -----------------------
   UK           69                 170
   Europe     2022                   3

Extend that in the direction of opposite_track etc. and to include other
countries of course.
