[Talk-GB] Google Wave

Hi,
I have just been watching the presentation on Google Wave
http://wave.google.com/help/wave/about.html
I was wandering if in the future if this would be a useful tool for us, I was thinking along the lines of helping organising meetups and mapping parties for a local area. Any thoughts?
