Sorry - what I meant is that when people tag a gate that isn't locked,  
they just tag it as barrier=gate, not barrier=gate & status=open or  
barrier=gate & locked=no

At least, this is what I have been doing and the relative tag counts  
suggest others (including you!) do the same.
