Same here; for example at the West Midland Bird Club's Ladywalk reserve:

where I'm personally acquainted with the guy who named the pools (I'm
a trustee of the Club). Those names are used on all our publicity
material, but also in third-party reports of bird sightings there.
Likewise the names of bird hides, which have no other identifiers
(apart from their coordinates, of course).
