The Open Elm Project is the result of a collaboration between Island-based Red

of Environment, Food and

The aim of the project is to harness the power of the public to help create
a detailed profile of the Island's elm tree population, and to help identify
and report trees which may be infected withDutch Elm

We have developed this website which enables you to submit the location,
health and a photograph of an elm you've spotted, and have built an
iPhone<http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/open-elm/id431082576?mt=8>
 and Android <http://www.openelm.org.im/about/#> mobile apps which makes it
easy to record trees while you are out and about.
