FYI...

Wisbech is pretty much the way it is because it was the basis for an 
official map commissioned by the county council, so we were able to 
transfer their desired local cycle routes into OSM and then back into 
the printed Wisbech map: http://bit.ly/rVJ357 Sadly, and unlike 
Cambridge, these routes aren't actually signposted on the ground (except 
NCN), but they do have an official sanction and source.

More recently we've done the same exercise for St Neots: 
http://bit.ly/v4HhBG In this case, they aren't signposted on the ground 
yet, but this will happen over the next few months.

I am currently working on a similar map for Cambs CC for the Ely area so 
there will be a similar set of tags appearing there shortly.
