Hopefully this information is correct:

So I think you can probably copy the contents of  %APPDATA%/josm  to a different machine, and it'll bring all your settings, and plugins ...maybe.

I need to shift JOSM to a new computer. My search-abiltes are failing
me and I cannot find a guide to doing so, whilst preservng all my
settings. Is there one?

Both machines use Windows.
