Any examples you wish to share of infrastructure/items not removed which were ultimately abandoned?

I thought it was agreed we weren't mapping pie-in-the-sky proposals. 
Primarily because the creator fails to remove them when political will wanes.

Perfect for a Leaflet overlay, though.
