It's actually not Mapbox, the map is from woosmap.com, which I'd never
heard of (it is using the mapbox vector stack though - mapbox vector
tiles rendered with Mapbox GL JS).

Mapbox (and also this map, as it's using the default Mapbox GL JS
settings) does display attribution by default. The controversy is that
the attribution is hidden behind an info icon when the map is shown on
a small screen, and this is also the case on this map.
