[Talk-GB] Removal of and changes to stiles

Hello all,

Following Mateusz Konieczny's messages in June ([Talk-GB] Is it useful to tag material=* of stiles? and [Talk-GB] Is it a stepover stile?), he has now implemented a modification to the stile type quest, which differentiates between stone and wooden step-over stiles.  You can read more about this in issue #2991 of the StreetComplete GitHub repository.  Phil Barnes had raised the issue that a more useful quest would be to re-survey stiles, to see if they had been removed and replaced.  There are currently no plans to ask about dog gates on StreetComplete, though a quest for step counts for step-over and ladder stiles is under consideration.

It would therefore be useful to know your thoughts on the following:

-   How often do you think it is necessary to check whether a stile is still present? (I suggested 5 years as a starting point, but I don't really know.)
-   Which tags should also be removed from a stile if either its type is found to have changed, or it is no longer a stile?  (So far, we have: material, height, width, step_count, dog_gate, wheelchair, bicycle, stroller)
-   What is a stile likely to be replaced with?  Currently, StreetComplete only offers kissing gate, which is likely to be the most common.  Phil suggested also gate and gap.
-   How should StreetComplete map a gap?  It seems to me the best solution is to take a photo and leave a note, so the gap can be added remotely (removing sections of fence etc as necessary).
-   Anything else stile-related or otherwise relevant.
