It's really good to see OSM as a basemap for industry. I wonder if it's
a side affect of partnering with opendatasoft, or if they made the
decision themselves.
Kind of related, I managed to map quite a lot of electricity sub
stations a while ago. I used the Land Registry dataset to identify
small parcels of land, these were usually substations or parking
spaces. However if they also had a UPRN it was a pretty good indicator
they were sub stations. Where I could verify with Bing (or survey a few
local ones under trees) I'd add them.
I thought that was a kinda cool when I did it.
