Whilst it is possible that the term will become common use, at the moment things don't seem to be going that way, with e-scooter, stressing the electric aspect, seeming to be the preferred marketing term.
Noted, though even the main Wikipedia article
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kick_scooter) is contradictory, in its
first line saying "A kick scooter (also referred to as a push-scooter or
scooter) is a human-powered ....." and then later in the article having
a section for "electric kick scooters"!
