To be fair, WFS is an open standard and is commonly used for geospatial 
applications. And, from the perspective of someone who uses government 
open data as part of my job, I'm actually quite pleased that they 
publish geospatial data in a proper geospatial format rather than 
dumbing it down to a csv (or, worse, a PDF!) and then claiming that 
they've met their open data commitments.
