Bus stops within bus stations are often called stands. In the sense that 
buses sometimes wait there for half-an-hour or more while the driver 
takes a break, usually with the doors open so that passengers can get on 
and wait inside if they wish.

In which case they are definitely a bus stop and part of the route.

At other times, a bus may remain parked at one of the lesser-used stands 
for several off-peak hours with the doors closed. It may subsequently 
depart from that stand, or move to a different one.
