I still don't see 'Platform X' as a genuine name. Remove the pertinent
variable & only
the object's description remains. We don't name a terrace of houses
House 1, House 2 etc.

Maps are "illustrative" in that symbols and swatches of colour are used
as representations.
Maps aren't descriptive using large amounts of text.

Tagging just the reference number allows renderers the flexibility of
what to display, concatenating 'Platform' or even other languages with ease.

Splitting platforms into their individual areas is beneficial & is
gradually being done. Please feel free to contribute. Removing
superfluous words enabling the labels to render will highlight the need
to split them.
