Yes, but the street name sign is on the corner of Ferry View, not at the 
end where it meets Merstow Green:

That's probably another reason why people may think that the section at 
the Merstow Green end has a different name. But OS OpenRoads has it as 
Boat Lane for the full length. And, although the names associated with 
USRNs in the NSG are not open data, the USRN itself is, and Boat Lane is 
a single USRN running from Merstow Green to the river. If it had 
multiple names it would also have multiple USRNs. So, while we can't 
derive the name itself from the NSG, we can legitimately conclude that 
the street has just one name, and apply the most plausible open-sourced 
name to the USRN.

The NSG actually has Abbots Walk as a separate USRN applied to the 
access footpath behind the houses. But that's not open data, and there's 
nothing indicating that on the ground, so we can't use that as a source.
