[Talk-GB] Changing "stub" cycleways to pavements

Looking at google images - not admissible to map from - - - -
Eastbound over the bridge the combined cycle footpath sign is seen - so
the combined starts there and there is no signage to revert back to a
footpath. And whilst reversing the road from the Sankeys Bridges bus
stops there is no signage facing the traveller to announce combined use.
So the implementation is incorrect by the local authority, and
consequently this discussion can occur.
I think the only way to proceed is to read the TRO (traffic Regulation
Order) and associated plans to find out what the council intended then
complain that is not what is implemented - cos looking at the signage
the combined path continues eastwards along Old Liverpool Road on both
sides. If they dont implement what was planned then any freeing or
restriction is unenforceable. As far as OSM is concerned I would leave it
as is at this time as it seems reasonable.
