[Talk-GB] Samuel Smith pubs - brand or operator?

Hi Mat,
Interesting question. Sam Smith's tend to be quiet, in terms of pub
frontage/signage, that they're the operator (though it's obvious once
you're inside) so I wouldn't say they "brand" their pubs. Contrast with,
say, Wetherspoons, who always appear to declare they're a "Wetherspoons
Free House" before you enter. Both are operators without doubt, but are
they both brands?
Pubs and mapping seem to be soul mates in terms of interests so expect some
further discussion!
