Sam Smith's are the direct operator of all of their pubs (and it is 
arguably also the "brand", since they are pretty consistent outside as 
well as in*).  I believe that the last Sam Smith's pub not run directly 
by the brewery  was The Ebor in Bishopthorpe near York 
(https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/643438276 ), but when the previous 
landlord died (during the first Covid wave) it closed, and the word 
locally was that the company was looking for a manager.

* this wasn't always the case - going back 20 years or so there were 
some that had a more tangential connection - I think that 
https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/258325076/history was one.
