[Talk-GB] Samuel Smith pubs - brand or operator?

As per Andy "Sam Smith's are the direct operator of all of their pubs"
but in general perhaps care needs taking with pubs as they are
frequently operated on a franchisee system, the operator is the landlord
as a person or company not the beer provider IMHO. Cf petrol stations
(look at the receipt) and buses (network=Metro but operator=First
Accenture Ribena Stagecoach or whatever ever call themselves today).
Brand is safer methinks.
