Getting the bridge part of the routable network would indeed be a good 
start, and I bet there will be a rush to take a proper look!

The press information suggests there are spots where the cycleway widens 
closer to the original metal barrier. Might be multiple 
tourism=viewpoint or perhaps highway=passing_place?

Another oddity from the photos though - the surface looks like wooden 
boards coated with tar. Almost surface=asphalt, just not quite? I've 
seen these before on rail bridges and construction sites, but not in 
this quantity.
