This is really helpful!
I especially like the fact that I can see where I've accidentally tagged
nodes rather than ways with address data.
Now I've had a proper read of

my main understanding is that addr:hamlet, addr:locality, addr:place,
addr:village, addr:town should retagged as addr:suburb (addr:city already
holds the posttown), and to make peace with the fact that this runs counter
to the normal meaning of "suburb" but does fit the addressing schema.
The above not to be done automatically, of course, but with due care and
thought per group of addresses.
