[Talk-GB] Envelopes map

To disentangle name from addr:housename I have been using an Overpass script https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1fcj to pick up buildings with a name tag but no amenity, shop or equivalent (it doesn’t pick up schools). Apart from name/addr:housename issues it also find buildings with an amenity name but no amenity tag.

Hi Andy,

Looks like the object will need an addr:housename tag (even if this duplicates the name tag) for the tool to render the address. Whether this is considered tagging for the renderer I leave up to you.

Regards,
Paul

Neat tool.

I've just tried with a local school, and it produced two lines:

   [TOWN/CITY]
   B42 2BY

so it's not picking up the name= tag

Should it?
