Hi all,
Whilst doing some public rights of way mapping, I came across the Rossendale Way: https://ldwa.org.uk/ldp/members/show_path.php?path_name=Rossendale+Way
I noted that some of the route is marked in OSM using the name tag on footpaths/bridleways (https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1flV). I'm assuming it should really be mapped as a relation - since all those individual paths are not likely to be called "Rossendale Way"?
However, the route isn't complete, so I can't just join as a relation. So I'm wondering if anyone knows of a OSM-compatible site from where we can download a GPX and then import into OSM to use as an overlay? I guess this applies to any "way" really. I've found a few sites with the route mapped but I'm not sure if I can download the GPX to then use on OSM (e.g. https://www.walkingenglishman.com/ldp/rossendaleway.html).
Thanks!
