I also found several in Worcestershire where

  designation=public_footpath

had been removed, where the PRoW ref remains and they are clearly on the 
County's definitive map.

The designation=public_footpath tag was previously present and showing 
in the way History.

I restored several of them, but I'm not skilled enough in OSM to search 
for all of them and repair them in bulk.
