I use a GoPro on a bike to generate 1-second time lapse photos (GPSr
located), then:

* Drag and drop the key images straight from the SD card into JOSM as
creating both a GPX-like set of photos showing the geometry and
clickable photo detail.

* Use the Mapillary python-based command line tools to upload the images
for others and reference.

This gives both the immediate chance to add detail whilst it is fresh in
the mind, and also long-term storage.

The app works fine on Android, but the integration makes it harder to
get at the photos without waiting 3-4 days for injestion, processing,
publishing, etc. It is still possible to copy to JOSM, but you need a
file manager app and some digging to find the directory (something like
`internal memory / Android / Data / mapillary`).
