I've already suggested to the person who created the challenge that they 
probably want to join this discussion.  However, that sounds like that 
needs reverting. If you'd like help with that (including identifying 
likely problem changesets) drop the DWG a mail at data at openstreetmap.org 
(I'm a member, but posting to this list in a personal capacity).  I 
suspect it would also help to explain to the person who actually made 
the change what the problem with the underlying data that they were 
asked to add was (happy to do that too if necessary).
