Your wiki page is currently suggesting that you are planning on putting both junction=roundabout and traffic_calming=island on the same node, but if you re-read the wiki page you linked to you will see it says 

“Traffic islands can also appear at the center of junctions or traffic lights, but then the roadway around them should also be drawn as a circular way tagged with  <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:junction> junction= <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:junction%3Dcircular> circular or  <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:junction> junction= <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:junction%3Droundabout> roundabout.”

 

So you *don’t* want to put junction=roundabout on the node, but instead draw the road around the traffic_calming=island node. That there are currently only 58 nodes globally with both tags suggest it is likely a tagging error.
